Daily Life

This center includes a kitchen, dining room, and wardrobe with clothes. Children love to go through the activities of daily life, including dressing up, pretend cooking and eating, and socializing with their friends.

Garden

Children and caregivers take care of the plants in our garden together. Children thrive on sunshine, love, and a combination of structured and unstructured activities. They find great delight in watching their plants grow!

Reading

We read each day during Circle Time, and have a special Story Time each day. Additionally, both our readers and our pre-readers love to come to the Reading Area during the day to relax and look through our engaging books.

Math

In our Math and Manipulatives Area, we count and play with abacuses and cubes. We also sort colorful counters, and play play with a variety of wooden, foam, magnetic, and sticker numbers.

 Construction

Children engage their imaginations to  build ingenious creations with their choice of car tracks, megablocks, wooden rails, cubes, and block waffles. They also play with letter, number, and shape puzzles in our Construction Zone.

Writing Center

Children are drawn to play in our Literacy Center, an imitation classroom complete with a blackboard and a variety of magnetic, foam, and wooden letters. They love using our paper and art supplies to write, color, cut, tape, and create!

Music

We sing and dance all day at The Happy Kiddos! In our Music Station, we make music with a variety of musical and percussion instruments.
